Trailer of the feature lenght documentary "Isola, where Bacchus' language is spoken" an ethnopoetical gaze on the "Cantine Isola", legendary enoteca located since 1896 in a Milano’s popular area that in the last years has become the heart of the actual Chinatown, the film depicts the daily life of this place where artisans of the district, usual customers - sort of historical "adventurers" - and famous people meet and mix in order to taste subtle beverages, but also to be themselves... to tell their story and measure their fleeting existences to a vintage wine. Shoot between july 2009 and october 2010, in this zone threaten by enormous urban metamorphosis, the documentary evokes also the dialogue between communities, the transmission of knowledge, the sharing of sensations, heady scents and poetical incantations...
